Unemployed Association Thanks CM Dhami for Exam Cancellation
Chief Minister Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance Policy on Cheating and Corruption

Dehradun: Representatives of the Uttarakhand Unemployed Association and students holding technical diplomas met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Sunday. During the meeting, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the Chief Minister for taking a transparent and youth-sensitive decision to cancel the recently held graduate-level examination following complaints of irregularities.
The association lauded the government’s move, stating that CM Dhami’s prompt and decisive action reflects the government’s commitment to fairness, integrity, and youth welfare. They said the Chief Minister’s decision to cancel the exam, in response to the findings of the preliminary inquiry, has restored the confidence of the youth and marked a historic step toward transparent governance.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while interacting with the delegation, reiterated that the state government will continue its zero-tolerance policy against corruption and cheating in recruitment examinations. He assured that every eligible candidate will be given a fair and equal opportunity based purely on merit.
“We will not allow any injustice to the hard work and talent of Uttarakhand’s youth. The government is fully committed to ensuring that all recruitment processes are conducted with complete transparency and integrity,” the Chief Minister said.
CM Dhami further stated that the Anti-Cheating Law implemented by the state has played a key role in bringing transparency, accountability, and trust to the examination system. He emphasized that strict action will be taken against any individual or organization found attempting to manipulate or influence the recruitment process.
Highlighting the importance of youth in the state’s development, CM Dhami said,
“The honesty, dedication, and sincerity of Uttarakhand’s youth are the state’s greatest assets. Our government will continue to safeguard their interests and uphold merit-based opportunities.”
The delegation also urged the Chief Minister to further strengthen anti-cheating mechanisms and ensure that future recruitment processes are conducted promptly and efficiently. CM Dhami welcomed their suggestions and assured that transparent and timely recruitment remains a top priority of his government.
“Transparent recruitment is the hallmark of good governance, and the state government is working continuously in this direction,” the Chief Minister affirmed.
Among those present during the meeting were Ram Kandwal, President of the Uttarakhand Unemployed Association, along with several association officials and representatives from the youth community.
