Additional Chief Electoral Officer Reviews SIR Work in Dehradun, Directs 100% Form Distribution by June 18
Dehradun: Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande chaired a review meeting at Rishiparna Auditorium, Collectorate Dehradun, to assess the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign across the district’s Assembly constituencies. Returning Officers (ROs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) participated in the meeting.
During the review, the Additional Chief Electoral Officer directed all ROs and EROs to monitor the SIR work regularly by logging into the portal twice daily, in the morning and evening. He instructed that 100% distribution of EFS forms must be completed by June 18, 2026, and the corresponding data should be updated on the portal without delay. Forms that have already been received from voters in completed condition should be digitized and uploaded immediately.
He also instructed the Assistant District Election Officer to prepare a special action plan for areas where progress is comparatively slow and to coordinate closely with the concerned ROs and EROs. The causes of low progress should be analyzed, and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) should be provided with necessary training, technical support, and guidance to accelerate the work.

Emphasis on Public Outreach
The Additional Chief Electoral Officer stressed that public participation is essential for the success of the SIR campaign. He also emphasized expanding awareness efforts through various communication channels and encouraging voters to fill and submit the forms.
