Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan on Friday reviewed the progress of development works underway at major tourist and religious destinations across the state during a high-level meeting held at the Secretariat.
During the review, the Chief Secretary was briefed in detail on the status of ongoing infrastructure and development projects at Jageshwar Dham, Mahasu Devta, Jadung, Mana, and Niti–Timarsain. He assessed the physical and financial progress of each project and issued necessary directions to ensure timely completion.

The Chief Secretary also stressed the importance of expediting land transfer and land acquisition processes, stating that procedural delays should be avoided to keep projects on track. Referring specifically to the new pedestrian bridge at Kainchi Dham and the festival ground at Jadung, he said that if required, the number of workers should be increased to ensure the projects are completed within the prescribed timeframe.
