CM Dhami Holds High-Level Meeting Amid Anti-Terrorism Measures, Orders Uninterrupted Supply of Essentials

Dehradun: In light of intensified national efforts against terrorism, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami convened a high-level meeting with senior state officials at the Secretariat on Friday. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for heightened preparedness across all departments and instructed authorities to remain on high alert, particularly in the state’s border areas.

During the meeting, CM Dhami directed officials to ensure the availability of essential medical supplies, including life-saving drugs and surgical equipment, in all government hospitals. He also asked the Food and Civil Supplies Department to maintain uninterrupted access to essential food items, ration, and drinking water throughout the state.

To strengthen emergency response mechanisms, the Chief Minister ordered that all relief and rescue teams remain on standby, ready to act swiftly when needed.

He further instructed the Information Department to actively combat misinformation and ensure timely and accurate communication with the public. Stressing the importance of public safety, Dhami said, “For the state government, the security and well-being of our people is paramount. We are fully prepared to handle any emergency.”

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Director General of Police Deepam Seth, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, and ADG AP Anshuman were among the key officials present during the meeting.
