Special Pensioners Camp on Nov 25: Health Check-up, DLC Guidance & More at Dehradun Treasury

Dehradun: Chief Treasury Officer Neetu Bhandari informed today that, on the occasion of the State’s Silver Jubilee Year, a Pensioners’ Awareness Camp and Free Medical Camp will be organized on 25 November 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Main Treasury, Dehradun.

The camp will offer free medical check-ups for all pensioners. In addition, expert guidance and awareness sessions will be conducted on the following topics:

  • Digital Life Certificate (DLC) process

  • Cyber security awareness

  • Income Tax Act provisions relevant to pensioners

  • Medical reimbursement procedures

The Chief Treasury Officer highlighted that under the Digital Life Certificate Campaign run by the Government of India and the State Government, multiple convenient options have been made available for pensioners to submit their life certificates:

  • From home using an Android mobile app

  • By visiting the Treasury and using biometric devices

  • Through the postman/post office

  • Through Common Service Centres (CSC)

At present, nearly 21,000 pensioners are receiving their pensions under the Dehradun Treasury. To encourage greater adoption of digital submissions, pensioners will also be provided hands-on training during the camp so that they can easily submit their life certificates from home in the future.

The Chief Treasury Officer has appealed to all pensioners receiving pensions from the treasuries/sub-treasuries to participate in large numbers in the camp being held at the Dehradun Treasury on 25 November from 10 AM onwards, and take full benefit of the services offered.
