Dhami Runs with Youth to Promote Unity and Fitness
DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the “Ahilya Smriti Marathon” under the ‘Ek Virasat – Ek Sankalp’ initiative at Pavilion Ground here today. Demonstrating his support for youth and fitness, the Chief Minister also joined the marathon run, motivating participants with his active involvement.
Speaking at the event, CM Dhami emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering societal unity and promoting a healthy lifestyle. He noted that events like these inspire community spirit, especially among the youth.
The program saw the presence of several prominent leaders, including BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, General Secretary (Organization) Ajay Kumar, Dehradun Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, Metropolitan President Siddharth Agarwal, MLA Bharat Chaudhary, Anil Dabbu, Shyam Agarwal, Hem Bajrangi, and BJP Yuva Morcha Metropolitan President Devendra Singh Bisht, among others.
