District Magistrate Savin Bansal conducted a comprehensive inspection of District Hospital Coronation on Monday, reviewing healthcare arrangements and taking several key decisions on the spot to improve medical services.
Acting under the guidance of the Chief Minister, the district administration has intensified efforts to upgrade facilities and restore efficiency in the hospital’s functioning.
Pathology Timings Extended to Reduce Patient Rush
Observing heavy crowding outside the Central Pathology Lab, the District Magistrate immediately ordered extension of sample collection timings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. He directed officials to ensure that all patients waiting for testing have their samples collected the same day.
Strict Action on Contracted Chandan Lab; 3-Month Report Summoned
During inspection of the contracted Chandan Lab, the DM expressed dissatisfaction after officials failed to provide clear details regarding its mandatory 24×7 operations.

During inspection of the pediatric ward, the District Magistrate appealed to parents to keep children away from excessive mobile phone usage.
